The Hyrax - watchful and safe in the rock

“And these you shall regard as an abomination among the birds; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, the vulture … and the bat.” Leviticus 11:13-19

The Sparrow – free from anxiety

“Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs on your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Matthew 10: 29-30.

The War-horse - a battle spirit!

"Have you given the horse strength......He gallops into the clash of arms. He mocks at fear, and is not frightened; nor does he turn back from the sword......He devours the distance with fierceness and rage; nor does he stand firm, because the trumpet has sounded. At the blast of the trumpet he says, 'Aha!' He smells the battle from afar, the thunder of captains and shouting." Job 39: 19-25.
